With praise and thanks to God for His provision, the board of Timothy Christian School (TCS) is excited to announce Mrs. Jocelyn Paas as our incoming principal for the 2020/2021 academic school year.

A strongly qualified educator with relevant teaching and administrative experience, Mrs. Paas has taught multiple grade levels, and is a member of the Faculty of Education at Tyndale University.

She is currently serving as vice-principal of the senior school at Peoples Christian Academy in Markham.

“Alongside her outstanding academic credentials, Jocelyn’s prayerful and professional approach left a strong impression on all involved in our school’s search for a new principal,” says board chair Jacob Speelman. “She has a passion for Christ and is eager to see students grow in their knowledge and love for Him as they learn at TCS.”

Mrs. Paas is a past president of the Science Teachers Association of Ontario. She is looking forward to joining the TCS community and serving the Lord together.

“I am grateful for the preparation for this position that God has provided to me,” she says. “God has been doing wonderful work in and through the TCS community and it is a blessing to me to have the opportunity to join this school.”

Mrs. Paas will replace Mrs. Margareth Lise, who has faithfully served at principal of TCS for 15 years. Mrs. Lise informed the board of her impending resignation in October 2019.
