For the past 60 years, Timothy Christian School (TCS) has provided a quality faith-based education to children in Etobicoke.
On Tuesday, April 30, an open house is planned that will include a raffle for $100 off tuition for the 2019-2020 school year.
The elementary school offers excellent educational programming from junior kindergarten to Grade 8.
At present, students from 42 area churches make up the school body.
“We are a school that represents the community in which we are located,” said principal Margareth Lise. “We are blessed with a rich, diverse community where, first and foremost, we have the commonality of Christ.”
“We want to reach our students’ hearts, that they will know Him more fully,” she said. “We work together to help our students be educated in an environment where Christ is central.”
This year, a new addition was constructed at the school, located at 28 Elmhurst Drive, Etobicoke.
The project includes a new gymnasium, atrium and school offices, as well as expanded kitchen facilities, a drop-off zone for families with younger children, and increased wheelchair accessibility.
Families interested in enrollment at TCS are encouraged to attend the open house.
“Once you see what Timothy Christian School is all about, you will see why we believe it is so special,” said school board chair Karen Milley. “It is a wonderful Christian community where teachers and families work together to educate our children.”
OPEN HOUSE: Tuesday, April 30 | 7 to 8:30 p.m. | Presentation at 7:45 to 8 p.m.
