Timothy Christian School’s annual “Timothy Drive” fundraising campaign will begin with a golf and dinner event, Oct. 5.

The 2019 golf tournament will be held at Eagles Nest golf club in Maple, Ont.

The event is available to 10 foursomes at a cost of $180 per golfer. Golfers will tee off at 12:30 p.m. and will finish with a buffet dinner in a private room (The Nest) overlooking the 18th hole. (Retail value of the package is $230).

Dinner-only options may also be available.

“Eagles Nest is routinely rated as the top public golf course in the GTA, and we have been blessed with the opportunity to play it at a great rate and support TCS at the same time,” said organizer Asher Roffel.

During dinner, the school’s main fundraiser will kick off, with proceeds going towards general operations and maintaining affordable tuition at the Rexdale elementary school. A donation request will be made during dinner to support the school.

Last year’s event raised $12,000.

Located at 28 Elmhurst Drive in Etobicoke, Timothy Christian School strives to educate and engage students for a life of service in Christ’s kingdom.
